Week 12 Recap: Barkley and McBride Prove to be the Winning Duo

Main Event - Week 12

Every week, it’s exciting to see who the “can’t-miss guy” is — and this week, it was Saquon Barkley. If you didn’t have him, you didn’t have a win. The top three teams were all led by Saquon. The Enforcers, at #4, still managed an impressive 144 points without him, getting 88 combined points from Gibbs, Moore, the Cowboys’ defense, and Brown. Wolfpack, outside of Saquon, also benefited from big performances by A.J. Brown, who contributed 20 fantasy points, and McBride, who added nearly 20 points as well. That was, by far, the highest score from a tight end among anyone who finished in the Top 10 of this game.

No Cap - Week 12

Saquon and McBride were the winning combo once again in the No Cap Contest. However, Let the Wookie Win also got a massive 28 fantasy points from Josh Jacobs, who went off for three touchdowns and over 100 yards. Garbage Time featured the Saquon/McBride duo along with several other strong contributions, but Christian McCaffrey underwhelmed with just 5 points, and Jalen Hurts also fell short with only 15 points. From DaHalpinator in 3rd place to TrashTalkers in 6th, Saquon was a consistent presence across the leaderboard.

Sunday Special - Week 12

GarbageTime claimed 2nd place in the No Cap but secured 1st place in the Sunday Special, narrowly edging out Gatos Locos and Can you DIGGS it?!? As expected, GarbageTime was powered by the dynamic duo of Saquon and McBride, which also led the way in the other two events. Gatos Locos also featured Saquon, but only managed 3.5 points from Otton at tight end, which wasn’t enough to keep up. Surprisingly, Can you DIGGS it?!? didn’t have Saquon and was instead led by Jayden Daniels, who delivered an impressive 32 fantasy points.

Golden Receivers

DakInABox dominated this game, securing an easy victory over the rest of the competition. After also finishing 3rd in the Main Event, it was a strong week for him. His lowest-scoring wide receiver was Hopkins, who still contributed 35 yards and a touchdown. He was led by Sutton, who delivered an impressive 85 yards and two touchdowns.
