Play Crypto Sports: W4 Results & Scores

Monday night games made the difference here. Footballaz was leading the competition heading into the night, but big performances from Brown and Pollard allowed Pandasmonkey to storm in from 6th place to a 1st place finish, winning a $130 Amazon gift card. Mboy’s Menaces also made a big leap with Brown [overtaking Footballaz], but it wasn’t enough as Tony Pollard finished with over 100 total yards and a touchdown. 2nd place Mboy wins a $30 gift card, and 3rd place Footballaz receives $15.

Ruptured Justicles takes first place despite getting only 7.3 FP from Josh Allen. How did he do it? The 49ers' defense scored 22 points, and Nico Collins had a monster week with 27 FP. He narrowly beat out DaHalpinator — B. Hall was the disappointment here with just 2.8 FP, which wasn’t enough — even though DaHalpinator also had Nico and Derrick Henry, who racked up over 200 yards and 2 TDs. The difference between 1st and 5th place was just ~6 points. Close race overall.

Chargin’ Chucks takes 1st place in the Sunday Special in dominant fashion, finishing nearly 24 points ahead of 2nd place 'Outlaws' — there wasn’t really a miss on his squad.

Hendo takes first place in the Flex What You Got, led by Derrick Henry. Ruptured Justicles almost won this one too but was burned by B. Hall, who scored only 2.8 points.

NFL Week 4 Recap

My favorite tidbits:

  • Giants Ground Game Stalls: Despite facing a Cowboys defense that came into the game ranked worst in the NFL against the run, the Giants managed just 1.1 yards per carry. Devin Singletary struggled with only 27 yards on 14 carries.

  • Swift’s Breakout Game! After averaging just 1.8 yards per carry and 114 total yards through the first three weeks, D'Andre Swift finally broke out in Week 4 with 93 rushing yards, 72 receiving yards, including a 36-yard rushing TD.

  • Xavier Legette Steps Up: With Adam Thielen sidelined due to a hamstring injury, rookie receiver Xavier Legette made the most of his opportunity. Legette finished with 5 catches for 49 yards and a touchdown in the first half, showing he’s someone to watch moving forward.

  • Texans' Defensive Struggles: After leading the NFL with a 46% pressure rate, the Texans’ defense dropped to a season-low 25% in Week 4. The result? Trevor Lawrence threw multiple touchdown passes for the first time this season.

  • Pittman’s Big Day: Michael Pittman Jr. had been quiet in the first three weeks with yardage totals of 36, 21, and 31, but he erupted in Week 4 with 113 yards on six receptions. This is more in line with his performance last season.

  • Bo Nix’s Nightmare Performance: Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix had a rough day, completing just 7-of-15 passes for a shocking minus-7 yards at halftime. He didn’t record a completion longer than 2 yards until a 23-yard pass in the second half, and the Broncos didn’t convert a third down until late in the third quarter. Yikes.

  • Stevenson’s Fumble Woes Continue: Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson has had ball security issues, fumbling in each of the first four games this season.

  • Raiders’ Rushing Awakening: The Raiders came into Week 4 with the NFL's worst rushing attack, averaging just 2.8 yards per carry. But against the Browns, they found success, finishing with 152 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including 95 yards in the first half alone.

  • Turnover-Free Goff! After throwing four interceptions in the first three games, Jared Goff was flawless in Week 4, going turnover-free and completing a perfect 18-of-18 passes to finish with 292 passing yards, helping the Lions improve to 3-1.

New Contests Are Up!

  1. Main Event - W5

  2. No Cap - W5

  3. Sunday Special - W5

  4. Top Guns - this one is 4 QB’s!

NOTE: Lineup locks are the same as usual — 15 minutes before the kickoff of the first batch of games on Sunday. HOWEVER, it's important to note that Week 5 includes the first game played in London (Jets/Vikings), so if you're submitting a lineup last minute, you won't be able to select any players from that game or, of course, the TNF game as well, which is Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta.

What Are We Working On?

  1. Referral Feature: We are currently testing the referrals, which will allow you to share a code that automatically tracks and transfers credits when you refer a player to the game. This will eliminate the manual process we've relied on before.

  2. Bid Functionality: We are also testing a ‘Bid’ functionality in the Marketplace. This will allow you to request a price for a player in the Marketplace, and any owner of that card can fulfill the bid to initiate the transaction.

We just distributed the prizes to the Week 2 and Week 3 winners. I will look to send out the prizes for Week 4 as well.
